EPICOH 2012 Challenges for Occupational Epidemiology in the 21st Century Chicago USA, June 24-27, 2014


The 24th International Epidemiology in Occupational Health (EPICOH) Conference will be held on June 24-27, 2014 in Chicago, IL. EPICOH is part of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) and has as its main function promotion of communication among epidemiologists, industrial hygienists, and other occupational health scientists worldwide.

EPICOH, which held its first conference in Helsinki in 1981, is committed to organizing regular scientific meetings to further the vision of understanding worker injury, illness and death, and to propose public policy and workplace intervention to improve worker health. The theme for this year’s conference is “Challenges to Occupational Epidemiology in the 21st Century.”

EPICOH 2014 is planned as a three full conference day event beginning on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 and concluding on Friday, June 27, 2014. The selected venue is the Hilton Chicago, which is a unionized hotel located at 720 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL, 60605. Pre-conference workshops, opening talks and a reception will be on June 24th, and the scientific sessions will take place on June 25th to 27th at the Hilton Chicago. The main social event of the conference will be a dinner and party planned for Thursday evening June 26th at the Chicago Cultural Center.
